July- September Auction Review

REGO Auctions

This quarter saw ~300,000 REGOs (Renewable Guarantees of Origin) traded across a range of technologies. Market activity remained steady with wind, solar and hydro continuing to achieve the strongest prices. While volumes were lower than in previous quarter, the market outlook remains encouraging as CP24 sales gather momentum. Selling REGOs on a a regular monthly basis remains the best approach to balance risk and take advantage of market opportunities as they arise.

ROC Auctions

A total of 465,537 ROCs (Renewables Obligation Certificates) were sold through auction this quarter. Demand for ROCs continues to show strength, with prices holding comfortably above £70 per certificate. This consistency underlines the resilience of the ROC market, providing generators with confidence in stable revenues and a dependable route to market.

Power Auctions

This quarter, power auctions delivered strong results, with 38 assets participating and a total of 70 MW of installed capacity sold. These outcomes build on our long-standing track record in the power market and underline the continued confidence generators place in our auctions.
